Praise for The Bomb That Never Was

“Hitler has the bomb, and it's headed for the USA. This meticulously researched historical novel will have you asking, ‘What if?' This is an intelligent, fast-paced page-turner that will make you forget that you already know how it all turns out. Provocative, informative, and entertaining—I couldn't put it down.” —Joseph P. DeSario, author of Limbo and Sanctuary and coauthor of Crusade: Undercover Against the Mafia & KGB

“Authoritative and credible in its attention to detail, The Bomb That Never Was captures the spirit and temper of the WWII years and raises some deep philosophical questions about loyalty, treason, and commitment to country. A page-turner … tough to put down … a story well told.” —Robert L. Aaron, journalist and public relations executive

My Review

Have you ever seen The Wave? It was an after school special when I was young that focused on Nazis and taught the students how easy it would be to be brainwashed into following something that initially might not seem right, and by the time you realized it it would be to late.

I always enjoy reading books, whether fiction or non-fiction, that focus on WWII. To me, there is no more fascinating time in our history and as hard as it is to believe it is something that should be learned from. But, what if these events unfolded just a little differently? What if Hitler had a bomb and that bomb was aimed at the US? What might transpire? J.R. Shaw delves into that in this book, and let me tell you, it is a thrill ride from the first page.
